UK/CoD GRAD PROJECT
This complicated proposal of inter-connected collaboration required a unique use of graphics to describe potential livability solutions through government agency funding.
This studio collaboration depicts an autocatalytic community serving basic functions: reducing energy consumption, increasing settlement density, facilitating meaningful interactions, supporting a healthy lifestyle, and promoting economic health. Working connections among policy, planning, economic viability, and individual practices are vital for communal problem solving. Solutions should remain adaptive in order to stay relevant and effective in an continually changing and progressive society.

AN INTERAGENCY COOPERATION
This Partnership is a US government initiative established to work toward more livable and environmentally friendly communities. Our studio was ask to plan and participate in the 2010 Sustainable Communities Conference, hosted by Congressman John Yarmuth in Louisville, KY. Deliverables for this event included a presentation on the Partnership's six “Livability Principles,” interactive fact playing cards, and informational posters.
