THE MACROCOSM

UK/CoD GRAD PROJECT

This complicated proposal of inter-connected collaboration required a unique use of graphics to describe potential livability solutions through government agency funding.

This studio collaboration depicts an autocatalytic community serving basic functions: reducing energy consumption, increasing settlement density, facilitating meaningful interactions, supporting a healthy lifestyle, and promoting economic health. Working connections among policy, planning, economic viability, and individual practices are vital for communal problem solving. Solutions should remain adaptive in order to stay relevant and effective in an continually changing and progressive society.
